Project Story
The project began with observing the garden’s geometry, light, and existing features. I created quick sketches to explore compositions that would feel harmonious with the space while bringing it to life.
The color palette was carefully chosen to balance warmth, vibrancy, and subtle contrast, reflecting the family’s favorite animals and the natural tones of the animals and plants they love.
The mural was hand-painted using weather-resistant acrylics to ensure longevity outdoors. Each motive was thoughtfully placed to interact with the surroundings, creating a visual flow that guides the eye across the walls.
By blending realism with illustrative touches, the design transforms the previously dull walls into a playful and uplifting extension of the garden itself.
A timelapse of the toucan and parrot shows the rhythm behind the work.
The gradual layering of colors, textures, and small decisions that turn a blank wall into a lively corner of the garden.
